Nice viz!
I’m not sure about the suitability of the circular shape since it’s not a repeating cycle, but of course it makes very clear the increase. I have a couple of curiosities, are the numbers rising so much in the recent years because of the increasing number of articles in the database? Which year is it the peak in the bottom left?
